VSP Motorsport concluded the Formula Winter Series at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, where Viktor Snebj\u00f8rn Poulsen competed in the final round of the season as part of the preparations for the 2026 FIA CEZ Formula 4 Championship.<\/strong><\/p>

Ahead of the races, the field completed six collective test sessions. Viktor mainly ran in the lower part of the field, but test 5 stood out as a clear highlight with a P13 finish, underlining that the pace was there when everything came together.<\/p>

The circuit was not new to Viktor, who had completed two test days at the track in December under wet conditions. This provided a basic understanding, but not the expected advantage in a highly competitive and closely matched field.<\/p>

The weekend featured varying conditions. Most sessions were held in dry weather, but heavy rain on Saturday significantly changed grip levels. On paper, prior wet-weather experience should have been an advantage, but it was not fully translated into performance this time.<\/p>

In qualifying, he secured positions such as P21 and P24. The field ran two qualifying sessions, with conditions evolving throughout. Multiple red flags made it difficult to put together a clean lap, and consistency in maximizing track conditions remained a challenge.<\/p>

The races resulted in finishes of P20 in Race 1, P17 in Race 2, and P23 in Race 3. In Race 1, Viktor finished ahead of Thomas Bearman. Race 2 in particular showed a more stable performance, maintaining consistent pace while moving forward through the field.<\/p>

Compared to Arag\u00f3n, there was progress in data understanding and post-session analysis. The next step is translating that understanding directly into on-track performance. There is continued development in consistency, braking, and race pace, but it requires more mileage in the car to be fully integrated.<\/p>

Overall, Barcelona was a challenging weekend in terms of results, but it provided valuable learning. A key factor remains confidence in the car, especially under braking, where the limits are not yet fully exploited. This affected both pace and flow.<\/p>

Barcelona marked the conclusion of a valuable Winter Series campaign. The experience provided a clear picture of both strengths and areas for development.<\/p>

The focus now shifts to continued preparation for F4 CEZ.
