VSP Motorsport kicked off the 2026 Formula 4 Central European Zone season at the Red Bull Ring, where Viktor Snebjørn Poulsen entered his first race weekend following a winter in the Spanish Formula Winter Series.
The weekend had a clear focus—not just on results, but on building consistency in performance. Previously, the level had fluctuated, so the goal was to bring together pace, understanding, and execution across multiple sessions.
Positive signs were already visible in practice, where a P17 finish out of 41 drivers indicated strong pace in a highly competitive field. In qualifying, he secured P16, though without fully maximizing the potential.
The races delivered a mix of setbacks and progress. In Race 1, Viktor fought his way forward through the field but was hit after an overtake, resulting in a puncture and a DNF.
In the following races, momentum started to build. Race 2 brought a solid P14 finish, with improved consistency across the distance. In the final race, he started P27 and worked his way up through the field to finish P16—just outside the points, but clearly demonstrating progression.

Red Bull Ring did not deliver all the results hoped for, but it provided a clear picture of the level and the demands required.
The focus now shifts to the next round of the Formula 4 Central European Zone at Salzburgring in Austria, taking place May 29–31.
